One time Gift

If you would like your gift to be designated for specific purpose or in memory/honor of please make sure to make note of at and send it along with check.
If you would like to give to Catholic Charities on a regular basis, consider a monthly gift. If you give us a directive, we can charge your credit card for the same amount every month. There are also bill-paying services that many banks offer wherein you can request that the same amount is paid to us every month. Even if it is only $10 per month, this adds up over the course of the year.
Your donation to this program helps us meet our most basic mission to feed the hungry:
$1,000 feeds a family of 4 for 9 months
$500 feeds a family of 4 for 18 weeks
$100 feeds a family of 4 for one month
$25 feeds a family of 4 for one week
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Contact your company for details as each company has different procedures. The impact of your gift to Catholic Charities may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made my retirees and/or spouses.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stock or other securities are a great way to reduce your tax liability while benefiting Catholic Charities. You may receive a charitable deduction for the market value of the stock at the time the gift is made.
A gift of stock can be a highly effective way to show your support. Donors may choose to make gifts using long-term appreciated stocks due to the potential tax advantages associated with such gifts. Before you make a gift of appreciated securities, consult your financial planner or tax advisor to determine how the potential tax advantages apply to your situation.

Notification of Donor Intent
The donor or the transferring broker must provide the following information for audit and acknowledgment purposes:
- Donor’s name and complete address
- Name and number of securities transferred
- Specific program to which the gift should be directed, if any
Please communicate this information at the time of transfer via e-mail or fax. You may fax it to Catholic Charities at 904-899-5510.
Electronic Delivery of Stock Donations
Please use the following information to enable your broker to make an electronic transfer of stock:

After notifying your broker, please call us at 904-899-5500. She will need to know the name and telephone number of your broker, the name of the stock, and the number of shares you are contributing.
Please remember not to instruct your broker to sell the stock and forward the gift to Catholic Charities. This will put the tax benefits you would receive at risk.

Planned or Deferred Gifts
With a planned gift, a reliable stream of income will be provided for yourself and your loved ones. In addition, you may avoid or reduce capital gains taxes on long-term appreciated assets, such as securities or real estate. Click Here for more information on Planned Giving.
An individual may leave cash, real estate, securities or other personal property in his/her will to Catholic Charities, and the value is deductible from the estate of the donor. We strongly recommend that you consult an attorney in the preparation of your will and to supervise its execution so as to comply with your state requirements
Gifts of life insurance can be made to the Annual Appeal. Donors may also purchase an insurance policy with Catholic Charities as the owner and sole beneficiary. All premiums paid by the donor are tax-deductible.
Gifts of real estate can be made to Catholic Charities outright or transferred to the organization. By making a gift of real estate you may avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction.
Gifts in Kind
Donations of goods or services play an important part of support to our agency. Projects undertaken provide many opportunities for suppliers of materials, furnishings and equipment to make these types of gifts.
